I love, love, love Halloween! It's my favorite holiday. I had so much fun making Jackson's costume this year. If you haven't heard Jackson is obsessed with hot air balloons. So when I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween, he said a hot air balloon. I was thinking "A WHAT?"

Anyways it turned out O.K. it was a little wobbly all night but he loved it. He didn't want to take it off and asked if he could wear it inside. He made out like a bandit. When people saw him they loaded him up with candy.

Makayla was a southern bell zombie, and Isaac was a ninja.

Makayla thinks her candy is going to last all year, but she forgot about the mommy factor. Oops. Maybe this year I'll control myself a little better.

You made his little wish come true! Seriously I thought you were going to convince Jackson to be something else this year because I couldn't conceive how you were going to pull that off but it looks fantastic! So creative! All of you guys look great!

The greatest thing about Jackson's costume is that he just thought it was perfectly normal to be a hot air balloon. We probably had 7 people stop us to take pictures of it. It was great. They got their fill of candy at the trunk or treat at church, and then we hit the neighborhood. Just like the last 2 years, after about 2 houses with dogs, Kayla and Isaac were done. I turned around to see Kayla bookin' it towards home and then Isaac was right behind her. Jackson "hoped" that all the houses had dogs - he loved it and got a ton more than the other two.

You had a Mom who hated the hustle and bustle of Halloween and yet you girls grew into Mom's who love it all. Mabybe I did something right after all. Reverse physcology! Love Mom S
