home is where the heart is

or so I've heard.

Jeremy has officially sold Dallas Preventive Pest Control to Terminex. Him and his partners have been working on this deal since before summer started. I've been told and retold not to tell anyone until all the deal was completed. Everything is cleared out of his office and done as of yesterday.

We are so sad to leave McKinney. It's been the most wonderful place to live. We love our home, school, friends, and ward. We are moving because it's the best thing for our business. We'll go back to Houston as soon as our home sells. It's not on the market yet. Yesterday we had carpet put in and there's a few other details before it goes up for sale.

Even though I don't want to move, I'm ready to get it all over with. Moving is going to be hard on the kids now that they're in school and have friends.

I'm trying to think of all the wonderful things about Houston. (and trying to forget the humidity, mosquitoes, and traffic)

We love the

zoo
Astros
children's museum
no snow
Carter's
outdoor theater in the park
Kema
ocean

I'm sure I've missed some. Oh yeah and at least Christy Hall has family in Houston and McKinney so I'll get to see her.

This is such sad news! We really like you guys. I'm seriously going to miss you! I can totally understand just wanting to get it over with--I hate the whole moving process. Hang in there!

Congratulations on the sale of the business and good luck selling your home. Houston will be lucky to have you back.

When you guys do end up moving back to Houston, you should look up my brother and sister in law, they live in Katy right now! Congrats on selling the business.

Anna was crushed when I told her! She will really miss Makayla, and we'll really miss you guys! Congrats on the business deal, though. Good luck in Houston! We've got family down there, so maybe we'll drop by and visit sometime!

If you're gonna move, you need to move north one or two states!:) it still makes me sad that you are moving though. That's hard stuff. Hope you find an awesome house in Houston that makes it a little easier.
