Dad keeps us rock'n

I thought these were some cute pictures of Jackson from yesterday. Last night we babysat for some friends so they could go on a date. They babysat for us last friday. Their kid are really good and they only have two we only leave Makayla and Isaac so its a nice trade. It's also nice to save a buck or two.

Jeremy plays his guitar every moment and occation he can think of. About a week ago Makayla told Jeremy "Daddy, you need to learn a new song" Since then he's learn a lot of new songs and the kids love to heard him play. It's nice to go outside where the kids play and jeremy plays his guitar and I just sit, hold the baby and watch them all.

CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS

Today was Jackson's appointment with Dr. Hollier. He's a cranial, facial specialist. He told us that Jackson has Craniosynostosis (his skull has fused together, when this happens the bones stop growing.) Over a long period of time this would restrict brain growth and cause brain damage. He will have a CT scan on Monday and than we'll see Dr. Megahead. Jackson will have to have surgery at around 9 months. They wait till 9 months because this is a pretty major surgery, and his skull will be easier to sculpt by then. He'll probably start to look a lot worse until he has surgery. After surgery he'll have to stay in the hospital at least a week. Then my guess is he'll have to wear a helmet till he heals, I'm not sure. The doctor said he'll have a scar from ear to ear across the top of the head (and may need another surgery as he gets older for cosmetic reasons).

We are not as worried as we might should be. We have so much faith in the Lord. We know that he wants the same things in life, for Jackson, that we as parent do. We are so lucky to have been given such a beautiful and happy baby boy. What a blessing to be given the gospel and have the knowledge that we do.

little hercules

Isaac and Makayla love to flex for us and show us how strong they are, by lifting things over their heads.

We bought a rug for our living room finially. Grammy and Poppy Logsdon helped me decorate my fireplace while they were here. It's such an ugly fireplace so anything is an improvment. If you click on the picture it will enlarge and you can see it better.

Jackson has a CT scan on Tuesday. They called me yesterday to tell me, they don't plan on sedating him but they may have to so I can't nurse him four hour before. If I choose I can give him some clear pedilite two hours before. I'm pretty sure he'll get pretty hungry and upset before the scan. Which means he won't sit still and they'll have to sedate him. But what do I know, nothing. We'll just have to see how it goes. The scan results go to the nuro surgen who will tell us if he's going to need more than just a helmet.

On Wednesday is his appointment with the cranial specialist. He'll tell us if he'll need to wear a helmet at all.

PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM

beach blonde

Makayla took this picture for me. Today I bleached my hair. I did it myself to save $. I'm blonde again.
If you can see my shirt it says SuperMom! Kind a laugh. I figured with three kids I deserve this shirt just for the effort of being super.

Easter Morning

We have church at 11 so I dress the kids as close to 11 as possible so the won't get dirty. I left just enough time for pictures, because by the time church is over Isaac is usually shoeless, tieless, and dirty. Makayla's hair is usually down and she's shoeless.

We had a nice Easter. I would say relaxing but the kids are to crazey for relaxing.

This morning Christy and I have started meeting again at the park. She quit her morning job so now we can workout together. In three weeks Jackson will be 3 months and I can leave him in the gyms nursery. It will be good timing because it's already so hot in the morning. I'm so spoiled from working out at the gym. I forgot how hard it is to run at the park. My goal is to run in the Astros 5k again this year it will be my forth race and third at minute maid park. Last year I ran it preganant. This year will be harder since I havn't been working out a lot in the last 10 weeks. My goal is to someday make a quilt out of shirts from this race. We'll see

Aunt Kendall can make me smile

Well Jeremy got a guitar and is really excited about learning to play. He's already doing very well. Makayla got one for Christmas so her and Dad like to jam together.
Jackson is such a good baby. He loves to smile for Aunt Kendall. It's so cute. He loves to be where the action is and see and hear what's going on. At dinner time he love to sit on the floor by the table in his bouncer or car seat and listen to us all.

baby blessing

Sunday, April 9, 2006 we blessed Jackson. Grammy, Poppy, Kendall, and the Carter family were able to be there. Poppy has been part of all three of our babies blessings. This is the first time a member of the Schultz side has been to one. I'm glad Kendall was able to be there.

Jackson wore Isaac's blessing outfit. I wish I would have bought him his own but I never found one I liked as much as Isaac's.

The picture of all three kids is the only one I have of all three of them. Sorry it took me so long to post picture. I kept messing up (I'm not the best at figuring computer stuff out)

Jackson was 2 months yesterday!!!

Growing up Texans

Well I guess I picked this title because I feel so far from family down here. Jeremy and I both wish so much that our kids could enjoy their families a lot more. We know that they're missing out on so much, not knowing all their cousins, aunts, and uncles. Our children are so special to us and bring us so much joy, we wish you all could see that everyday like we do.

I have loved getting on Kooper's blog everyday and seeing if Bailey has posted anything. She has done such a great job of keeping everything so up to date. My kids love looking at pictures of Kooper and Makayla thinks baileys new kitchen is beautiful. (her words exactly).

I hope I can keep up with this. If you get my weekly email than you might start hearing a lot of thing repeated.

Today we tried to get family pictures taken, but Makayla and Isaac just weren't having it. So Jackson got his picture taken, but we couldn't keep him awake long enough to get one with his eyes open and a smile which he has been give so freely lately.

Yesterday Jackson had his 2 month check up. He weights 10 pounds. Jackson had x rays done earlier this week and the doctor thinks his skull maybe fusing together in some spots. So I'm being referred to a head specialist and a Nero surgeon. He might need to get a CAT scan. I don't really know what this means, how it could have happened or if it's that serious. We'll see.
