Jackson's Shiner

I must have a few minutes. I'm having to post stuff that happened a few weeks ago. Jackson fell out of his crib and two days later had a black eye. So either Isaac dotted his eye or he hit it on the way out of his crib.

Isn't she sweet

Makayla's teacher informed us that she is a great little missionary at school. For Thanksgiving she drew this picture for what she is thankful for. (I guess, I'll forgive her for not drawing me)

We were putting up our Christmas tree with the primary christmas hymns playing, and Makayla said " I feel like I want to cry, this music is so pretty."

Makayla is so good at sitting and listening to scriptures at night time (while Isaac runs around and stands on his head) She is such a sensitive little girl, who already has such a testimony of the gospel and of Jesus Christ.

Any mother and father can tell you of the sweet testimony of a child who has been taught the gospel at home. What a blessing the gospel is for our family.

Our Duplex is Sold!

Our duplex got an offer in less than a week of being on the market. Yesterday we excepted it and now we just have to wait for it to close. It's truely a miracle that it sold so quickly. What a relief to not have to worry about that anymore. We'll lease from the buyers until Febuary 14th. So now we need to buy a house.

We went to Dallas for three days to look at some areas and homes. We found two that we love. We'll probably go back one more time and look at them again. There's two more we want to look at. I kind hope a few of them sell, to make of decesion a little easier.

We all got sick this last week. I don't know how it happen but We'd all better get over and stay healthy for the next week.

Jackson's surgery is in about 8 days. I think I'm a little more worried this time around than last. Maybe because he's getting older, wiser, and we're more in love with him than ever.

I haven't sent out my christmas cards yet and they've ask Jeremy and I to speak on Christmas Eve, and I have the YW's lesson that sunday. I'm a little over whelmed.

This morning I went out to the shed to grabb Jeremy gift so I could wrap it and I can't find the key to the shed. HA HA HA All our gifts are in there. I might have to break in.

Love ya all

Dallas here we come

So Jeremy is going to open another branch in Dallas. We are going to try and move in Febuary. We are so excited to start a new adventure. There is so much to do. Christmas is busy enough (add Jacksons surgery, selling our duplex, buying a new home five hours away, and find another manager to help Mike here in Houston) I think this move will be wonderful for Jeremy and for the family.

This picture is of all the grandkids (except Elijah, who was only 14 days old) It was pass his bedtime.

I can't believe there's six now. I also can't believe half of them are mine.

Jeremy and I are both sick. I hope the kids don't get it. I don't know if it's possible for one family member to get sick.

KENTUCKY VACATION

So on thursday we packed up and went to Louisville, KY to visit Jeremy's family. We haven't been in three years. We only told his brother and Dad. We wanted it to be a surprise. It took about 16 hours of driving or more. We packed like 10 movies to keep the kids busy. They were really very good. It wasn't a bad drive at all. Jackson's surgery hasn't been reschuduled yet. We'll let everyone know when it will be.

Post-poned

Jackson's surgery has been post poned. When we went in for his post op appointment ,on Tuesday, Jackson was coughing a lot and had a runny nose. Dr. Hollier sent us to another doctor to make sure he wasn't sick. Sure enough Jackson has a double ear ache and cold. He's on antibiotics and we will be rescheduled for probably Dec. I was so bum. I now think things will workout even better for us and Kendall. Now the only problem is who will watch the kids while we're at the hospital. Maybe mom or Starr will be able to come down. We'll see. Jeremy seems to think people in the ward could help out but that's a lot to ask and the kids would be really out of the norm. We love you all and are so thankful for all your prayers. I'm positive it was a blessing Jackson started coughing the moment we stepped into the doctor office. Other wise I would have just thought he was teething.

My sister Bailey came this weekend. I was able to see her baby Kooper for the first time. He is so cute. We had so much fun seeing them and hanging out. Makayla was in a parade this weekend and was in the ward Primary Presentation. It was a big weekend for her.

We put Isaac in soccer on Saturday. He loved it. I'm so excited for him to have something to look forward to and to release a lot his energy.

Curtains finally

I finally made curtains. I've had the faberic for months now. I was going to make roman blinds but I gave up because I couldn't figure it out. I also put up faux wood blinds in both the window. They took me like two full days to install. I hate putting up blinds.

I just caught Isaac drinking water out of the toliet. He had just gone pee in it and hadn't flushed yet and I use those blue tablets. So If he gets sick it's either the pee, blue stuff, or ring in my toliet of who knows what. I'll keep you posted.

HAIR CUTS

We buzzed Jackson's hair yesterday. He's had a few cuts already, but this ws with clippers, on number one. He looks so different. I don't know if you can tell in pictures.

Happy Halloween

I can't believe it's November already. Yesterday Jackson had an eye appointment. They said everything looks great. He'll go back in three months to make sure that the swelling after surgery doesn't hurt anything and that everything stays lined up right.

There's less than two week now. It's going to start getting really busy around here. I guess the holidays always get busy right.

Makayla has a really bad ear ache, but we got her right into the doctor and it's getting a lot better.

Makayla was a cat, Isaac was superman or I guess he was really Clark Kent(like his black hair, what a mess) Jackson was a cow, Jeremy was also superman-Clark Kent, and I was Lois Lane (kind of lame) I always forget about what I'm going to be because I'm worried about the kids and their costumes.

Jackson is into everything. I need locks.

Isaac wore that vest to Bailey's wedding. We put Jackson in it for church on Sunday. It was a little small.

we all got school pictures taken

Makayla had school pictures taken about a month or so ago. They let Isaac and Jackson jump in for pictures too. Jackson spit up all over his outfit like 5 times so he just wore his diaper. Makayla had a pumpkin party today at school. She had a lot of fun and got a lot of candy.

Jackson was supposed to have an eye appointment today but it was raining to hard. I was afraid of flooding so I called and rescheduled for next week.

Jeremy's been in Idaho and Utah all week and gets back tonight. I hope it stops raining before I have to go a get him.

So there's only 2 1/2 weeks till Jackson surgery. It's sneaking up on me.

Forgetful Mom

Today was Makayla's ballet/tap class and I completely forgot it was Tuesday. It wasn't until bedtime, when I was reading Makayla a ballet book, that I remembered. I should have just kept it to myself, but of course I told Makayla. She cried and cried. We called Dad and tattled on Mom for forgetting.

prefect weather and fishing

We went fishing on Saturday. It was so beautiful out. It was so nice and laid back. A friend in our ward owns some land with a stocked pond on it. He had a big bucket of dog food for the kids to feed the fish with. It kept the kids busy. We bought Isaac a Spiderman pole and Makayla got a Barbie pole. They were both a little freaked out at first. Isaac reeled in a bunch but Makayla won't touch her pole if it had a worm on it or got close to the water.

Makayla has her first field trip ( to Kroger) this week. I think Jeremy is going with the class. It should be alot of fun. She's had two show-and-tells since school has started. The first time she took a map and showed everyone where Grammy and Poppy lives, where Grandma and Grandpa lives, where daddy served a mission, where Aunt Amy lives, and where we live. Then last week she took a family picture of the Logsdons and the Schultzs. She took a CTR ring one week but they cancelled show- and-tell because the teacher forgot to send home reminders.

We love ya all and miss you very much. Jacksons surgery is about 4 weeks away now. Its creeping up on us.

GO ROCKETS

Sorry the picture is so blurry. It's a polaroid. We went to an open practice for the Houston Rockets. It was a lot of fun. It was during the day so Jeremy took half the day off.

We got our picture taken with the Rockets Championship Trophies, made a poster, and got to shoot some hoops before the pratice started. They had dollar popcorn, pop, and hotdogs. Our kids got denied after the practice for autographs. They advertised free autographs, but we didn't know they had to have a ticket. Which were being passed out at the enterance and we didn't get one. So our kids waited in line and then we're turned away. It was kind of sad. Both the kids were pretty bummed. Jeremy wrote into the sports radio to complain.

Tonight we're going to the Pasadena Rodeo. We got free tickets at the Pasadena Rodeo Parade.

The weather has been cooling off a little in the mornings and evenings but the afternoons have still been pretty hot/warm.

Jackson got one of his top and the other one is on it's way.

Isaac keeps falling asleep in his closet with the same book and the light on.

I'm still alive

We took Jackson to the doctor thats going to make his helmet. He'll get his helmet two and a half weeks after his surgery. He'll have to wear the helmet between 3 and 5 months.

Makayla is loving school. She's a little older and a pretty smart cookie her teacher hopes she doesn't get bored. Her best friends at school are Jane, KJ, Kathrine, and Mike. They give her hugs when I come to pick her up.

I'm trying to get into a routine with her gone. It will be so nice when she is in school 5 days a week next year. We're talking about maybe putting Isaac in preschool next year too. I can't believe they're only a year a part in school.

NEW VAN

we got a 2004 honda odyssey on friday. it is so beautiful. i'm afraid to drive it. it's so great to have a/c that's cold (now that summers coming to an end)

we found it on e-bay. it was in dallas. we drove up and back (5 hours each way, because of stops) it was through a dealer, so we traded in our volvo. it would have been too much of a hassel to sell it ourselves and have to drive it back to houston. it also had so many problems it would have been weird to sell it with all of it's problems.

the kids watch movies all the way home. they did ok on the trip. i hope they do that good when we drive to ky for Christmas.

after jeremy got off work today we went bowling with the kids. it was a lot of fun.

heres the pictures

Happy Birthday Makayla

Makayla had her birthday party on Saturday. It was going to be a pool party but it rained. I didn't have a back up so we went to the dollar movie theater to see Over the Hedge. Isaac threw up right outside the theater so he and Jeremy went home and we stayed for the movie. The whole day was a little unorganized but Makayla had a good time. Jeremy got her a CD player which she loves and takes with her from room to room. Sunday she played children's hymns around the house. It was so nice to have music playing.

She made and decorated her own cake, with a little help from mom. Isn't it cute?

The picture of Isaac is with his new lunch box. He takes it everywhere.

First Day of School

makayla had her first day of school and her birthday on tuesday. it was a very exciting day. she loves school. yesterday she was in charge of bringing a treat for everyone and today was show and tell. she took a map of the U.S. to show everyone where washington, kentucky, and texas are. she was letting everyone know where her family is and where she's from. I think she may even show everyone where her daddy went on a mission. one of these pictures is of her first day. she's wearing a new outfit and backpack from grammy and a new lunch box from mommy. the other pics are of isaac. he fell asleep in jackson's crib (he's been doing that a few times lately). the other picture is of jackson getting into the dishwasher while i unload. he's into everything. right now he's under the computer, removing everything.

FIRST TOOTH!

Jackson got his first tooth on (maybe) monday. I didn't even know it was coming and then all the sudden (bam) there it was.

Last night we went to a meet your teacher open house at Makayla's school. It was so exciting to watch Makayla find her seat, cubby, and show her all around the classroom and school. It's a very small school so it didn't take long. After the open house, we went to dinner with the three last salesman that are still here. Today was their last day. It will be nice for the summer to be over and things to slow down alittle for Jeremy. It usually takes until Oct. for things to really slow down but it's still really nice when all the salesmen finially leave.

We were out til 10 though. The kids usually go to sleep at 7 but have really been staying out late lately. With school starting we'll really have to get back on schedule. Which means I have to get my sleepy head out of bed alittle earlier.

FAMILY PHOTOS

sorry its taken a few days to post these. i kept being taken from the computer and forgetting what i was doing until it was to late and i had been kick off the site.

for those of you who don't know, i'm so bad at getting family pictures taken. my kids refuse to get them done anywhere but outside by and friend or family member and even then there's a slim chance of everyone cooperating
