Not much new with Jackson. He went on his first "Father, Son Campout" He loved it. I'm so happy Jeremy was brave and took him.

Makayla
These are Makayla's BFF's at school Iris and Kaylee. I love that she has little girlfriends. She informed me the other day that she has lots of friends because everyone likes her. (and I have no doubt she's right)
I was actually really impressed with Makayla's athletic cordination. She was one of the better girls and even better than half the boys. We've always tagged her as uncordinated because Isaac has always been so athletic. I've always told Jeremy girls take a little longer to get it and that you can't compare Isaac who's always be great.
Makayla lost her top front tooth (finally) And now she's about to lose her other top front tooth. She looks so funny right now because she's missing one and the other is dangling and holding on for dear life. She's forever changed and will look like a big girl. I really hope they come in straight.

Isaac
Soccer season is over. Isaac was so excited about his trophey. He took it everywhere that week.
Isaac got a medal at preschool field day. He was so proud, but got more excited for the popsicle at the end.
He had Preschool graduation last Friday. This was his first week of summer break. It was a lot of fun. Mostly because Bailey's here to visit.
Isaac and Jackson went on the father son camp out. They had so much fun. I was so happy they were able to have that experience. Jeremy was an all star dad for taking the youngest kid there.
Here is Isaac doing a job for Dad. He is so good at doing little jobs for him. We were painting the front rooms and Isaac took all the electrical face plate off:)
Isaac has had a lot of blog time lately, but he's had a lot going on lately. These pictures are all of Isaac.

GLADIATOR!!!

Jackson's favorite TV show is American Gladiator. It is the greatest thing in the world to him. When Gladiator is on, he is GLUED to the TV. When the referee says, "Is the contender ready?" Jackson will raise his hands over his head and say "READY!" Anytime he has to exert more than average energy at whatever he's doing whether it's climbing onto the kitchen counter, at the playground, or whatever he always yells "GLADIATOR" while he's doing it.

Isaac doesn't like Jesus

So Chauntel was getting Isaac dressed for church last Sunday when Isaac started complaining saying, "I don't want to go to church. They're just going to teach about Jesus, and I don't like hearing about Jesus."
A bit amused, I looked at Chauntel, expressionless, as she was getting his pants on. I asked her if she heard what he said and she said that she did, she just didn't know what to say about it. We hope that one day he will like to hear about Jesus.

A few more pics

We had our family pictures taken a few months ago. I was a little worried they wouldn't get done. We've had our outfits since Nov. and the weather would be bad or someone would be sick. I bought summer outfit last summer for pictures, than winter outfits for winter and I wasn't about to buy summer outfits again for these stupid pictures that keep getting pushed back. So finally they're done. We're just waiting for the one we picked to get touched up a little, then we're going to blow it up and put it above our fireplace:) A friend in our ward does portraits as a side job.
I'm really looking forward to this summer. It will be nice to sleep in, go swimming, and go on adventures to the zoo, park, and any where mom can think up. The weather has been really great lately. Pretty soon it will be unbearable hot and the only thing we'll want to do is swim. I have the kids signed up for swim and they probably do an art camp. I wish there were more affordable camps out there. Maybe Makayla will have to have more of her girl's club meeting this summer to keep her busy.

My Baby Sister Got Married!!!!!!

I can't believe my youngest sister is married!!! She got married last weekend. I was able to go home and be there. It was the first time in two and half years that all of us sisters have all been together!!! I'm so happy for her. Her husband seems really sweet. I still picture Jillian in diapers running around the house naked (like my kids, I remember her being naked a lot:) Any, how, it was really nice. Sunday was so nice. We sat outside for about 6 hours in the backyard doing nothing. I loved it. I really miss Washington and my family. I loved being able to go home and enjoy the feel of home.

COUSINS, COUSINS, COUSINS !!!!
So, this isn't all of the cousins. There's 12 (only 11 there because Isaac wasn't there) They had a lot of fun playing together. Makayla loves going on walks to the park with all the older cousins. She feels so grown up.
I loved holding Kendalls babies. It made me a little baby hungry. They are so cute and good. She has them on such a good schedule.
Jackson had a hard time sharing all my attention. There were too many little babies to compete with. He didn't like that so much.
I really wish Isaac could have been there. He would have loved it.

Isaac and his super heroes and super villain
I found Isaac like this, when I went to wake him up. It so typical Isaac. He loves his super heroes and super villains. He also stays up til all hours of the night playing with them and reading books.

Kennewick Here I Come
So, family I bought my tickets today. I'm coming home for the wedding. I'm bring Makayla because I really want her to see Jillian get married in the temple. I think little girls need to see how beautiful temple weddings can be and hopefully understand how important they are. I'm also taking Jackson, because he can fly for free (sitting on my lap) Now I have to break it to Isaac that he's not coming. Hopefully we can sell it as a "fun boys only weekend."

From Hurricanes to Tornadoes
When moving from Houston, I was very glad to be leaving behind hurricane season and all of it's destructive paths. Now we are in safe McKinney, where hurricanes will no longer threaten to destroy our home and expose my lack of emergency preparedness. Wrong. Tornadoes now threaten to expose my lack of emergency preparedness (which I'm now avidly working on.) This last two weeks we have hidden our family in our tornado safe bunker (I mean master closet) to be safe from looming weather. This last week we were woke up at 4am to the tornado sirens, wind, and rain. Makayla is so scared of storms she shakes violently and totally freaks. I feel so bad for my sweet girl.
Not much really happened. Part of our roof ripped off. Our insurance guy is coming out to look at it today. We're hoping he thinks we need a new roof:) Our stake president's yard has 10 of his 15 beautiful trees destoryed. So the strom did leave many with messes to clean up.

ShOuT oUt TO gRaNdMa ScHuLtZ
Jeremy and I would like to give a big thanks to Grandma Schultz for the Isaac's Christmas gift, the DVD "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
He has now learned the word "damn" and told Mom to get him a "damn drink of water" and informed his friend that "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" has the word "damn" in it and informed his friend that we don't use that word.
We will now be throwing away the DVD and I hope grandma understands that we still love her and will still accept her gift with open arms, whenever they come.

Haircut and color
Finally, my roots were getting so bad. I feel like such trailer trash when my hair is over due - which happens every time. I'm so bad at getting in often enough. It's so hard with little ones. I found someone who will come to my house and she's been doing hair for like 20 years so I'm in good hands. She's twice as much as Tara was but so worth it, to find someone who will come here and has so much experience.
Jeremy of course wishes my hair was longer and blonder. It's so hard to keep up with blonde blonde hair and it's nice to change up the do every once in a while.

SO UPSET
Jackson was moving the chairs around to try and reach the Easter candy. When I finally put the candy on the fridge, he realized he wouldn't be able to reach it, he was so upset.

EaStEr At OuR hOuSe
We had a lot of fun this year for Easter. Nothing really big or complicated. Saturday, we went to the city hunt and the ward Easter egg hunt. Jackson I don't think could have cared less about trying to get an egg. He ran pass them all, but still had a good time. He must not have know there was candy in them.
The Easter bunny brought Isaac Ben 10 super heroes. He is so into super heroes (any kind) as all as the action figure stands up. He likes to gather all the super heroes and super villains in the whole house and set them up. He'll play with them for hours. It's real cute.
Makayla got a webkin. She loves Webkinz. She's pretty good about feeding them and putting them to bed.
Happy Easter Everyone.

Just a short post
The kids got into our Halloween Box and now Makayla has the sister she's always wanted
Girls watch out this little DEVILS smile can really melt a girls heart
She is always trying to trick us and make us laugh
I think, I need a journal so I don't feel the need to bore everyone with the intimate details of my life. But here it goes.
It's spring break so I'm trying my best to keep the kids out and about and busy. We've gone camping, to the park with friends, to the jump house, to "Horton Hears a Who", and now Jeremy is going out of town for two nights, so I might have to bring out all the stops to keep them busy and me sane. My house is really taking a beating. I don't know how I'm going to keep up with the cooking and cleaning during the summer. The kids are everywhere and into everything and it looks like a tornado hit McKinney.
I love my new pot rack Jeremy installed and I love my new pots they are gorgeous and they cook so good or maybe it's my cooking that's so great:)
Jackson is 25 months old and today got weighed in at 22lbs 5oz. One of his friends is 24 months and 32 pounds!!!! but I think the doctor has stopped worrying for now and I am through with doctor appointment for him.
I can't believe Easter is almost here. I'm not even ready. It kind of snuck up on me. I just got Makayla an Easter dress tonight:) I let her come and help pick it out. It was a lot of fun. It's so hard to find dresses with sleeves though.
Makayla and I are really into reading at night together. I've been reading Junie B. Jones books, Matilda, and Freckle Juice etc. It is so much fun. I told Jeremy he'd have to forgive me for staying in her room a little later at night because I love it so much. We've been going to the library and it brings back all these memories of Beverly Clearly, Choose your own adventures, Sweet Valley High Twins, and Box Car Children. I have a lot of fond memories of my mom reading to us at night from "Box Car Children" and "Indian in the Cupboard." Isaac is so upset that Makayla gets to check out chapter books and he doesn't. I know there's no way he'd make it through one page with no pictures. Maybe I'll let him check out a big boy chapter book next library trip.
Makayla is going to try out for the school talent show. She informed us last week that try outs are coming up and she wants to tell jokes. Which I think is so cute and so we're going to try and help her get ready for that.
PLEASE SHARE YOUR FAVORITE (AGE APPROPRIATE) KNOCK KNOCK JOKE MAYBE SHE COULD USE THEM IN HER ACT!!!!!!
